This site is purely for the purpose of me showing you what it was like to be in marching band at the University of Cincinnati. It will show you some pictures of myself personally performing in some of the events that the University of Cincinnati marching band has done each year. This will take place starting in the year of 2015 and ending in the year of 2019. I was apart of the Bearcat band for four consecutive years.
I have played trumpet for every year, and was a section leader for the trumpet section my last year of marching band. I was also apart of pep band and concert band but that is not the main topic of this blog.
I have been playing the trumpet for eleven years now and have been marching the trumpet for a little over eight years. I started playing the trumpet in fifth grade and started marching in eighth grade. I remember that the only two reasons I chose to play the trumpet were because my sister told me to play the trumpet, and all my other siblings played woodwind instruments. So, I thought that I would be brass just to be different.
Throughout my entire band career here UC, I have loved band. I have made great friends through band and have created memories that will last a life time. UC is a lot of fun and their traditions are even better.
